Piquillos Peppers are a sweet red pepper from northern Spain, the name translating to ‘little beak’ due to their small v-shaped appearance. They are hand-picked and roasted over embers, then peeled by hand and packed in natural juices. These peppers come from the chili family, however once roasted, they take on a sweet almost spicy flavour more like capsicum. They are firm and red, and they hold their shape well when cooked or stuffed.
