Simon Johnson Gordal Olives, also known as Queen Olives, are grown in Andalucia, Spain. They are a firm plump olive that is often classed as jumbo owing to their large size. They are harvested early in the season making them a little denser than the more common black olive.

Pickled green and ideal to use as table olives, Gordals are a fleshy olive that have a meaty somewhat mild flavour. They are good when pitted for Martinis as their mild flavour doesn’t overly interact with the drink. They are also loved by the people of Seville who use this olive to add flavour to all their traditional dishes.
