Description:
Organic Papillon Roquefort is made from unpasteurised organic ewe milk and has the A.B label (French organic food label). The ewe’s whose milk is used to produce this Roquefort only feed in pastures tendered without the use fertilisers, and in case of illness, are only treated using physiotherapy. Organic Papillon Roquefort answers to the highest standards of hygiene and environment.
Its characteristics include a white to ivory coloured curd with a velvety appearance and creamy texture. Its veined cavities of intense blue give it a generous and unique flavour typical of Papillon Roquefort cheeses. In the mouth, its unctuous and supple texture, melts deliciously with a recognisable taste, powerful and lingering aftertaste.
