The Warrnambool cheese plant is one of the largest and most modern cheese plants in Australia. The majority of cheese produced at the plant is of the standard cheddar variety. In addition, low fat cheddar, skim milk, Gouda, Romano, Swiss style cheeses and Club Cheddars are also produced.
The vintage cheddar is based on a traditional sharp English style, it is full and robust, and is much richer in flavour than standard cheddar, it is matured for up to 16 months, and it comes in a black wax.
