Barambah Organics is a family owned company based in Brisbane Queensland, producing high quality certified organic products. The milk is sourced from their own farm located at Murgon in the South Burnett Region of South West Queensland, where the cows feed on a balanced pasture of perennial legumes and grasses under the vivid blue skies and River Red Gum trees on the banks of the Dumaresq River. The farm is organically managed by Ian and Jane Campbell with the upmost attention given to animal welfare and health, but also with a strong focus on the sustainability of the land.
Barambah Cheddar Block is mild in flavour and has a firm texture. It is made with organic certified milk and is high in vitamin B12, but the product itself is not certified organic. This type of cheddar is very versatile and can be used in almost any application; melting, cooking ingredient, sandwiches or on a cheese board just to name a few.
