This is a true farmhouse chevre, the cheese is made by hand using milk supplied only from the farm and not brought in from surrounding dairies. This fresh chevre is lightly rolled in dill, it has a moist and slightly wet texture with a creamy, sweet herb taste.
This delightful fresh cheese is delicious on baked potatoes as well as baked root vegetables such as beetroot, carrots and parsnips. It can be used as a classic accompaniment to smoked salmon, or crumbled over antipasto platters.
