Just one hour from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley has a long history of dairy farming and is renowned for its stunning scenery and producing superb wine and artisan food.  Yarra Valley Dairy began delivering their cheese to the local wineries in 1994, today their cheeses are delivered to cheese enthusiasts around the country. The majority of their cheeses are fresh and soft in characteristic, made in distinctly Italian and French styles; however, their mature cheeses are gaining favour and have become an important part of the range.

Yarra Valley Saffy is a creamy fresh cow’s milk cheese marinated with saffron, lemon zest, cumin seeds and garlic. Its lusciously creamy texture delivers the flavours of the marinade without being too overpowering. It is amazing in an omelette, tossed through a cous cous salad or to finish a tagine.
