Description:
The spanner crab is most commonly caught in the pristine tropical waters off the Queensland coast. Crabpak catches its crabs on mats called dillies that eliminate bi-catch (other species) and the Queensland spanner crab fishery was the first in Queensland to be announced as sustainable by the Australian Government.
This premium meat is particularly sweet and fresh in flavour and on cooking, transforms into light flavoursome, melt in the mouth chunks.
Little wonder it is the choice of renowned chef Tetsuya Wakuda.
