Description:
Fougerus has a mild, sweet taste, and is slightly less salty than most traditional French brie’s, making it appealing to the Australian palate. The fern leaf on top serves as decoration, and the perfume of the leaf blends with the mushroomy smell of the white mould. The pâté is ivory in colour and soft and supple in texture, and at its peak will reach an almost runny consistency.
